This is a day-long meditation retreat with scheduled practice sessions and breaks. It is a silent retreat, to allow our minds to settle over the course of the day.
This is an opportunity to set aside our everyday distractions, settle into a retreat container, and explore our meditation practice at a deeper level.
It is suitable for all levels of practitioners of any spiritual tradition, including secular and non-Buddhist. Participants should have some experience with meditation practice. For those who have not experienced a group retreat or day-long sit, this will be a gentle yet potent introduction.
Ozarks Dharma Community will provide cushions, mats, chairs and blankets to those who need them. Plan to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle. Directions and more information will be emailed to registered participants.

Participants had this to say about previous ODC retreats:
Thank you so much for your skill in guiding this experience today. Words cannot express the impact it made and the gratitude I felt as I left there.
-JP
I just wanted to express my gratitude to you again for the retreat. The more I reflect on it, the more I am struck by the day’s meaningfulness. The way you held the space for us was very moving.
