Besides the QR code on the flyer, you can also fill out this form.  Your contact information will be sent to the shelter or meal team that your schedule best suits.

There are other ways to volunteer if the overnight shelter doesn’t fit one’s schedule. Serving meals and donating needed items are other options.

Our most needed level of volunteering is overnight volunteers. Most shelters schedule volunteers daily, and then alert them of shelter openings and closures. When shelters are open we need 2-4 volunteers for each of our seven regular shelters. Even if you can only volunteer one day a month, this allows some of our regular volunteers to have a break from overnight shifts.

Additionally, shelters like Grace UMC need a little additional volunteer support, as they operate as our meal service site every night of the week. Often, we need volunteers to help serve guests, and to help with the flow of the meal service each night. Many shelters also need people to help set up and clean up the shelter space each night and morning.

You can also work to collect donations such as blankets and pillows. These items are always needed, especially as we continue to gain new partners and shelters.
