Learn to Meditate

Sifting through myriad approaches to meditation can be overwhelming for a beginner who just wants some basic instruction to get started. 

The free Unified Mindfulness online course has been developed by renowned meditation teacher Shinzen Young

This secular, non-religious approach consists of 10 video-based lessons, each about 5 minutes long. The straight-forward terminology and precise instructions are easy to understand and easy to put into practice. 

ODC is not affiliated with UM. We simply find that this concise, well-designed course is an effective way to learn a robust system of mindfulness practice.

Developing the skills of Concentration, Clarity and Equanimity will enrich every aspect of your day-to-day life, and provides a solid foundation for more advanced practice.
